Concert Repertoire
Symphonova’s unique capabilities open new horizons in high-quality recording of orchestral scores. Our team is embedded in the Classical music tradition and fully understands the unique requirements of sound quality and nuances of expression needed for creating high-end recordings of concert repertoire. We are excited to collaborate with composers and their publishers who are thrilled to finally have the capability to share their music widely .
Starting in June 2023, alongside on-going collaboration with numerous composers, Symphonova has been engaged in a three-years project as part of the Awakening Suppressed Music project, which consists of recording suppressed orchestral scores published by Donemus. Past projects include a CD of works published by the Canadian Musical Heritage Society that have not been previously recorded and rarely performed (Centrediscs label and Naxos distribution) and recording the full orchestral legacy by General Sir Maurice Grove Taylor (1881-1961).

Recordings for Media
We’ve designed a streamlined production process and delivery format tailored for the specific requirements of composers working for media. Composers are able to communicate their ideas about the music to the conductor and get a set of sectional stems ready for the mix. Most importantly, they are able to focus on the creative aspects of the production rather than on the tedious task of making virtual instruments sound expressive.
We offer three distinct delivery packages:
Strings, 2 stems delivered in 2 instruments group (high and low, including one divisi)
Symphonic, with up to 8 stems delivered in 8 instruments group (woodwinds – high & low; strings – high and low, including one divisi; horns; trumpets & trombones; harps and keyboards; and percussion)
