Under the masterful direction of conductor Shelley Katz, Symphonova creates immersive, emotionally charged symphonic experiences. Whether performing solo or with our talented Symphonova musicians, we deliver the power and nuance of a full orchestra in exciting new contexts.

As part of the Reawakening Suppressed Music Project, Shelley Katz leads the Symphonova in a series of recordings and performances of suppressed orchestral scores published by Donemus. The series was launched in 2024 and we are excited about bringing to our audiences’ awareness this engaging music that otherwise might be lost forever.

The Symphonova also captures the imagination of forward-looking creators who are excited about  writing music with the Symphonova’s unique capabilities in mind. One  recent premiere of a wonderful work written especially for the Symphonova  is  ‘Tribute to Alfred Bader’ by Joe Kraemer, which was performed on April 28 in London, UK.
